Not a good day for me

Driving down the highway and hear a clunking noise from the trailer. About 3 seconds later tire breaks off. Anybody selling a tandom axle for an 03í Prostar 209 in DFW?

You can just replace axle assembly and repair fender.. or did trailer frame get torqued?

terrible!! what causes something like that. PS trailer-ing horror stories gives me nightmares

Try ellis trailer supply if Texas Mastercraft doesn’t have any laying around. Call Jeff or Scott, if they don’t have them they will know where to get them.

Thanks for the replies guys.
As far as what happened, not exactly sure. Was driving down the highway...rough and under construction and Iím guessing with the weight of the boat and the bumps in the road, something broke and away the tire went. The trailer frame has a big tear in it from where the fender was bent up. The back of the frame is bent down so not sure itís any good. Insurance adjuster will be out in the next day or so, so we will see what the verdict is. Luckily I have $2500 coverage on the trailer with only a $50 deductible.

Fender is pushed up against the side of the boat. Canít tell if there is any damage at the moment. Iím not going to mess with anything until the adjuster comes out. I do t think it is pushed in far enough to damage the hull but the wrap is definitely damaged
