amazing and could turn the tide, If it turns political please shut it down.

A customer work told me about this one day. I just looked it up it truly is amazing. apparently an energy company has found a way to pull the CO2 from their missions and use that to create a tennis shoe. Think of the implications if CO2 is truly as evil as they say global warming etcetera but we have found a way to take and pull it from Emissions on a power plant and solidify it into material to make a shoe, then the next logical step is a way to pull it from the atmosphere. It is truly an amazing time we live in please don't let this get to political. I just thinks it's amazing.

It would be better if they could make tacos out of it.

Should start a gfm for the research to make it happen; tacos from waste gasses!!

I think you're missing the end game. Tacos taste awesome, eating tacos creates gas, gas increases CO2, CO2 harvested from air makes non-skid Tennis shoes, people in non skid tennis shoes work in fast food restaurants, fast food restaurants make tacos. It is the circle of life!!!!

I remember seeing this on the news about a month ago. Truly amazing!

We're working on Autonomous Driver Trucks right now. One day you're going to see a Fully Loaded Semi-Truck driving itself down the hiway while the driver is in the sleeper taking his required break!

Or they will eliminate the driver altogether. Think of how that will impact the jobs outlook in this country. Same thing happening in retail and grocery store with the "self checkout". Unemployment stats will be off the charts.

I worked at a power plant for 31 years, only thing we ever made with the exhaust from burning coal was fly ash which they used to mix with concrete used on roads, and other concrete structures.

Lots of future jobs with all this new technology. High tech, primarily. All these gizmos require trained technicians to install, repair and maintain them. I got through 40 years at Intel on a 2 years electronics degree, and troubleshooting skills. The future is obvious, but I am not positive our current education system can keep up. Believe me, Amazon loses a lot of revenue with machine downtime, and will pay a lot for good repair people. If any of you have a teenager who is good at fixing things, get them into a solid school like DeVry, and push for that 4.0. Get them into advanced robotics training. It will pay off 100 fold.

The only problem with that mentality, is that your generation has programmed us that unless you have a college degree, youíre useless. I work in software dev and implementation, and itís the older generations who canít keep up lol
