I would suggest replacing your t-stat. I had very similar issue you describe until my t-stat completely failed last spring. I replaced the t-stat and haven't seen the creeping temp rise at idle since. Temp would slowly creep up at idle away from the ramp or marina until I accelerated then temp would quickly go down. It was also random and not every time. So my assumption is the t-stat was slowly failing.

Iíll get one and put in it. Wont hurt thatís for sure. Might as well do a new belt at the same time.

On a side note, anyone watching this thread be interested in this star for sub 50k? I’ve had some recent events in my life that has me in a money bind. (Stolen truck)

Thinking selling the star and my new truck to get back ahead and moving to something else next year hopefully.
