Nut Size

What size is the nut thats inside the coupler that bolts to the tranny? MY shaft is 1" tried 1 1/4, 1 1/8 1 3/16 30mm 27mm. WHAT SIZE IS THIS THING:THANKS 1990 PROSTAR 190 351W 1:1 VELVET

I would have posted the correct size, but I would have had to go out to the boat, take the coupler apart and then tried different sockets until I found the right size. I also have the ZF Hurth transmission, so I couldn't guarantee it would be the same. Count me as one who looked and didn't answer.

So, for future reference: What size was the shaft nut on a 90 ProStar 190 w/ 1:1 Velvet Drive?

Table Rocker, Thanks 1 1/4". Got everything but the shaft, DIM said should have it on 7/11,12 hope so my boys are ready to get on the lake to be the HEAT.

Glad you were able to get it worked out. It doesn't sound like it takes much bend to be out of tolerance. Here's to running smooth on July 12th!
