These folks will build a set of GT40P heads to spec. They come ready plug-and-play. All you'll need is a marine gasket kit.

A friend of mine has used them previously and was completely satisfied with service and product. Took them about two weeks to build the set. Be sure and request that the mounting bolt holes be drilled to 1/2" diameter to fit your 351.

$0.02

I used Tri-State to get me a set of GT40 heads back in 2008 for my 351. They did a great job for me and highly recommended

No.

However new exhaust manifolds are a good thing to replace and forget about them for a long time, but that is not required. Use your own judgement for that.

The GT40P heads are for the 302CI but are identical in specs for the 351; thus the need to have the bolt holes enlarged to 1/2" diameter, to mount to the 351CI. Merely a little larger bolt for the 351.

A marine application gasket set is important.

Rebuild what you have as insures will bolt together just fine. You can get all sorts of rebuild upgrades on the heads and entire block & components . No need for a different engine . EZti remove and install.you can easily crank out an additional 30-50 hp
