Finished my install really clean went together well the only thing is the flexable brake line is allitle tough to get started in the bypass valve very little slack to work with since the new mastercylinder is reset farther in the tube than stock. The Mity-vac power bleeder worked really well no mess not one drop of fluid hit the floor I also used the auto fill feature it makes the jobs simply......

Sounds good!
Question... Did you loosen the brake line in the trailer part so you could spin the fitting on the UFP brake solenoid or did you spin the tounge?? Seems like plenty of space in the opening of the tongue to get a wrench in. |

Spun the tounge, I did not want to put any more stress on the flexable brake line.

I ordered the Motive bleeder today. Time to get some brakes back on the trailer.

I have the Motive bleeder. I bought an extra cap for the reliable master cylinder and drilled a hole in the top to adapt to the motive. Works great and much cheaper than the motive version.

Did you move the adapter from your Reliable bypass to the new UFP bypass?

Yes I reused the small orifice adapter, James at MC Boats said that larger orifice adapters has been substituted in cases where people tow a empty trailor. This helps wheel hop when braking....... If you travel a loaded trailor re-use the OEM fitting.

What orifice adapter are you talking about?? I am finally ready to install the UFP retrofit. The flexible brake line which has 1/8 inch npt threads just screwed into the Reliable bypass valve. I noticed on the bypass valve that it was setup for a flare type of brake fitting. The UFP is the same way. I checked others at the dealer and it was the same setup. Question is does the regular 1/8 npt flexible line suppose to just screw into the flare nut female fitting on the bypass valve?

Where did you find that cap. I've been looking at options but nothing is all the good so far. I saw motive they had a couple adapters but they were all like $40 and I didn't see anything that looked like an exact match.
