What version of ZO are you using. Definitely is a rec mode on my 2013 prostar. We use it when we tow my little sisters on the biscuits and knee boards

hey guys, you can run a virtually any speed the boat can operate in by using the Slalom Training mode. Training mode allows for 1/10th of a mile increments in speed change as opposed to locking you into tournament baselines. This will work for kids, wakeboarding, etc.

There should be nothing wrong with running those speeds in trick mode, we use trick mode in tournaments for the kids jumping at slower than the set speeds (in jump mode) and obviously for tricks as well, and don't have any problems.
One reason it couls be "hunting" for speed, being a 2014 ProStar, with I assuming 2 x pucks, you could have failing pucks, which is quite a common problem.

It was really rough water also as previously mentioned. I'm not too concerned about it, but it is fun to hear the perspectives of guys who have hours behind the wheel of the system. Of course what I'm really looking forward to is seeing what 34mph feels like
