No spark from coil

I have a 2000 prostar 205v with 5.7L, Throttle Body Injection, Delco electronic ignition. I have no spark at coil. Replaced coil, rotor, cap, pick-up coil, distributor module. I have jumped out the kill switch. When key in on position I have 12 volts coming into the coil and 12 volts coming out of coil to distributor module. Verified a good ground at block to battery. Just before not being able to start engine I had a problem with engine run 1500 rpm and could not slow it down with stop screw on carb. Ran fine until midseason when negative battery cable corroded out and I replaced terminal connector. I have a mechanic look at and he can't figure out the problem. Also, remove tachometer connector still no spark. ECM was sent out over winter for checkout and recalibration. I'll try any recommendation - just want to get back to skiing. HELP!

do you have the original battery cables? my guess is you have a cable that runs from the starter to the battery and the ground cables are probably corroded from within.. try and run 4 strands of 12 gauge for the ground and see if that doesn't solve it.. you can have 12v but when you go to start it the draw is to much for the poor cables..

Just a thought...

do the positive too.. if it works then you need to go get some 2ga and put in new wiring.. i just went to fleet farm here and bought it on a roll with ends and soldered them on cutting to length... reasonable you can fish the new cables using the old ones.. good luck...

I ran a jumper cable from battery (-) to coil mounting bracket tested continuity - good. Still no spark. Can't figure out what is interrupting coil output. Testing coil secondary while cracking to ground.

check pickup coil for resistance in range - test ignition module for trouble.. you might have a bad module. only other thing would be a bad coil (not likely).

Other thing it would is corroded wires - downstream of the battery.

Make sure the distributor is well grounded.

How would you test the distributor ground?
