YouTube Munich surfing.
They surf on a narrow pipe outlet there that is fed by a river offshoot. Kinda cool.

Is your cabin to high from the lake?

A. Do the stairs have swich backs?
B. Do you fight to see who is going to get the boat ?
C. Do you meet the looser at the boat launch?

If you answer yes to these you are to high....

You should have known when you saw the Natique sticker on the hood.

We were on Herrington Lake in Burgin, KY once upon a time. The switchback stairs were nothing compared to the section where there was an aluminum extension ladder lashed to the cliff. Too many floating logs and such to make anything else stay during the spring season. If you didn't have to carry anything you could bet to that point and just jump. Usually about 10-20' to the water in prime season. My wife would make us pick her up at the Marina. My 2 year old daughter loved it. Vultures would catch the updraft off the cliff and circle on it about 50 feet from our deck. One neighbor actually brought a marine reserve unit for rappelling training on our cliff. Don't have a pic of our at work, but this was a neighbor up the street's set up.
