06 X30 Best Wake Shaper

This will be our first summer on our 06 X30. I am looking for the best wake shaper for this hull. Surely someone on team talk has gone through this same decision. Appreciate any feedback.

Thanks

Yes!

I keep hearing that very thing.

That may be a 2019 investment.

A more affordable option is the BoBv5 home-made suck gate. Tried one on my X30 and it does remarkably well at creating a very nice wave.

Placement

Hey - where on the hull did you place it? How low down? all I her is that the suction cups dont work well on 06 x30 hull design.

I found someone using a nauticurl on a 07 x15 and I think the x30 and x15 have the same hull except lenght.

The 30 SS and the 15 SS are basically the SAME hull. The 30 is a foot longer in the middle. Yes the 15 is more agile...it is a smaller boat. The 30 is probably a better bet for your use. More interior room and such.
Again they are the same hull basically just the 30 is a foot longer

Hope this helps

Yes Hulls are the same! and on page 4 of this thread someone has a photo of the nauticurl on the 07 x15. http://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/...uticurl&page=3

On the lower step and as far back as will hold. The beauty of the SeaStow handle used on the BoB v5 is that the suction cups are small enough to fit on that lower step.

Thanks. I saw that pic. One thing I am going to do is measure the area before purchasing to make sure there is enough room for the suction cups.
