Trailer Preservation

What are you guys doing to preserve tires, bearings, hubs, etc? I dry store our boat and the trailer lives outside. Should I put the trailer on blocks and keep the wheels/tires in climate controlled area? Wouldnt be too much hassle to throw them back on if the trailer was needed (although its not expected to be used). Are you guys just tarping the trailer to preserve it? Seems like a waste of 5k+ to sit and weather.

Mine lives inside hanging in my garage. Set up for this when we did the house.
If it sat outside, Id pull the guideposts and tarp it. Keep sun off everything.
Tires inside would be nice but seems like a lot of work.
May depend on conditions where you live
