Lake Ray Roberts in North Texas was at 91* last week and as of last night is 84*. Last year we were out for the last time on my wife's birthday, November 17th. I don't think we will make it to that date this year if the long term weather predictions hold.

You actually boat on the Missouri? It runs right through here in KC, nobody ever on it, and for good reason. 7mph currents through this part of it... no thanks.

NW Massachusetts in the Berkshires... getting to ski in Oct is a 50/50 bet for sure my last chance will be Sunday Oct 1 this year as my driver is traveling the next weekend so no driver. With my knee surgery poor overall skiing conditions on the weekends, this has been a dismal season for me

Long weekend September first last weekend for me to ski. Have to start winterizing everything before hunting season or I end up doing it in the rain everytime. Cottage , boats , house , trucks and cars , it takes me six weekends to get-r-done.

I have video (VCR!!!!!) of my running 5 at 35 off 34 mph at Spencer's Ski School in Owego NY probably 15 years ago on a Mastercraft Pulse. I've run 38 off on my home course with just my wife as witness. I tried 39 1/2 and could only get 1. Younger and stronger then... now , well next year after the knee heals, I hope to get into 35 BTW I use double rubber boots on a Goode 9600
