Only time I see that much contamination/burn on the cushions is when the boat seen some time in salt water

Surfing through here I just found this thread...just so happens, I bought that boat. Got it for 36k... and after right at 5k in interior, seadek, swim step fiberglass, and misc parts and a bunch of elbow grease and sweat, she came together nicely, I've put almost 100 hours on it since mothers day and haven't had 1 motor issue. Starts up and purrs like a lion (definitely not a kitten, that 8.1 has some balls, and at idle she rumbles). It spent it's whole life at antelope valley on lake Powell and no signs of salt water anywhere. Here's to another 650 hours!

I'm not sure who made the bimini...it came with the boat. And ya, 8.1 is a beast. Boat full of 15 people, 1500 lbs of ballast, and pops up on top of the water like a jet ski. Love it.

Waistline, what prop are you running? I have the 8.1 and struggle to get to wakeboard speed with boat and stock ballast full.

It's an oj 14.75x14.5 it came from Utah so it's a high altitude prop. I talked with oj about swapping to the right prop for my altitude, he said I'd gain like 4-5 mph. I never cruise wide open anyways, if my boats running I'm pulling someone so figured I'd just keep the power prop. She'll do like 38-40 WOT but I never take her to that anyways. But I love the outta the hole power!

Thanks! It was quite neglected when I got it....a little pride of ownership goes a long way! Put over 100 hours on it this season. Hope to have it for a long long time!
