Why dont you build the hard tanks Fourfourty installed in his x23 out of starboard.
Seems like the optimal option for you.

I appreciate both of your feedback and advice! I am very new to this, I will definitely be talking to Wake Makers about what can be done.

Bcd is correct here. The 2012's are a pita to reprogram, better off with separate pumps for the bags

Here are some threads on 2012 ballast pumps. The first one has 3 additional links going through the issue/options. The second one is the programming option.

I don't understand your current software comment. 2012 was a one off year. In 2013, MC switched from medallion to Murphy, so you can't have the current production software in your boat.

I'm sorry, I am confused on this too.... our boat dealership says they "updated our software" so we no longer have the 2012 software, they say it's "current." But I have been told that 2012s software are changed to 2013 software? Does this make any sense?

So what I have heard is my boat software has 2013 software even though it's a 2012 boat. Dealership just said they made it current

Does your screen have push buttons in the metal surrounding it or is the metal frame around the screen solid?

They may be meaning that it has the most current updates which is good. But even with the updates you cant piggy back of the system easily like you can with the 2013-16 Murphy Systems.

2012 X25 Hardtank options

I'll save you some headache and tell you that you don't need or want 1000lbs in each corner of your X25. Plumb those XStar sacs in and you'll be good to go. Your additional weight will go into port/starboard coffin seating and some in bow opposite surf side.
