This doesn't look right to me.....

I recently had an attitude plate (center tab) installed on my 2007 X15 by my MC dealer. When it is fully retracted, it is still well below the bottom of the boat (as shown in the photo). The dealer says that this is correct for this boat, but I'm not so sure. Can anyone confirm?

Judging by all the pictures I've seen, nope. Someone else with actual firsthand knowledge should probably chime in here soon though.

I just checked a few pics of my boat and that is not how mine looks. A bit tough to see but clearly angled at least slightly upward:

They are very useful. Make climbing in very easy.

Thanks for the picture JP-OH. Yours looks right to me. Was this a factory install or an add on?

No worries. They are factory.

Looks like it could be the wrong lower mounting bracket (actuator to tab) or wrong actuator.

Nearly every MC if not every boat I've seen has the center or surf tabs retracted so the tabs are angled up and above the bottom of the hull. Retracted means it does not change the flow of water off the hull.

Agree with above comments that a shorter actuator is likely needed.
