You joke, but that is the standard mode of operation.

Kinda familiar with fuses. Ever seen an ATO fuse with wire wrapped around the tabs after the filament melted?

I worked at a stereo store and at least five years in a row, a woman came in on Christmas Eve, to have her receiver repaired for her party that night. Every time, the AGC fuses were wrapped with aluminum foil, the circuit board around them and the output transistors was burned to crap and we just couldn't get her to buy something that would handle being treated like a farm animal but she wouldn't have it- this was a Pioneer SX-525 and the one I had put out a blistering 13W/[email protected]% THD when it was tested.

Would thus help?

And I would miss out on the 4 hours of call-in pay after every thunderstorm. Last week I scanned in and then pressed the “ON” button on a UPS backup. The batteries were dead so it didn’t come back on by itself. 4 hrs. Last night I scanned in, walked over to the press and said “You guys didn’t reset this section of the machine?” 4 hrs. I live 5 miles from work.

The operator tells me "Maintenance worked on this roll lift and now it keeps cutting on and off". It's a simple lift: Two "safety" rocker switches, relay board, motor/pump, and 2 hydraulic cylinders. Billy-Bob replaced the 2 rocker switches with maintained switches instead of CENTER OFF spring return switches. The operator thinks he is releasing both switches but the pump keeps running and the cylinders bottom out. The overload trips and it starts back up again after it cools down. Slight safety issue.
Also, just ignore the packing tape holding the door closed in the background.

We used to just have the yellow/black safety tape on the floor around the machinery, but now the 5S Black Belts are incorporating different color tape/paint. They need a new color for the open door on the electrical panel....that they set their sign in front of.
