When I went to turn on the key there was no power to turn the engine over and the gauges did not move. I then noticed the battery was in backwards and the cables reversed. I quickly removed the cables and installed the battery correctly. After doing this there was still no power to the gauges and the engine would not turn over. The blower and bilge pump would work. I have seen the circuit breaker strip at the back of the engine. Is the a main breaker that I can reset and if so where is it located.
Many Thanks.........Gord
Should be a button on the back of the motor to reset. I would start a new thread asking this question...

Hi there,
I just purchased my first mastercraft. It's a 1991 prostar 190 351w. I have already winterized it but was curious about a drain on the block. On the starboard side I was able to drain the block out of where the shower hooks up. The guy I bought it from however never mentioned that being a drain and thought the starboard block drain was towards the back of the engine right in front of the starter. No matter how much antifreeze I pour into it nothing comes out there. Is it a drain that is clogged or was he mistaken? Thank you for your time.

Luke

Is there a knock sensor on the other side of block? I'm not familiar with the 351....but I did winterize my 94' 350 in steps. Check out this thread and maybe it can help you out.

I'm heading to CDA, ID tonight. Come for a last ski before I winterize!

The block drain on the starboard side is down low, towards the front of the engine, should be a brass drain plug, yours may have a petcock. The drain on the port side is towards the back of the engine. I assume you've probably already drained the exhaust manifolds.
