Norris Lake (questions)

I am going to Norris Lake from July 5th-12th and taking my X-2. My family is renting a house near LaFollette (Lakeside Estates). I have been reading where the lake levels are at abnormally low levels and since we are at the tip of a cove I am getting a little concerned. Anyone have any experience with this part of the lake and have any tips for me?

I think that is up at the East end of the lake. The water is about 8' or so low - it would totally depend on your particular cove and how shallow it normally is. We have a cove near us that is usually pretty shallow but it is still usable now - about 8' deep right now. The lake is lower than normal, but it isn't bad. The owner who is renting to you should be able to fill you in on their particular cove.
