So which of the covers did you end up using? And was it the swim platform or the tower cut-outs that were different between the two?

My 2005 X-2 with 525 hours! It has been a great boat from the beginning to now, she’s starting to show her age a bit, needs new interior seat covers and currently looking for new transom swim platform brackets.

Swim Platform Brackets X-1, X-2, Late model 205V

I'm looking to change out my Swim Platform Brackets for my 205V. Platform currently sits under water, from the forums, it appears I need the taller bracket from a 2001 and up X-1 or X-2, part number MC-530381. Approximately 10" in height vs. my current bracket at 5". Please let me know if anyone has information on picking these up used or something. Thanks!

The #381 brackets are available for around $400. I added 2 1/2" square aluminum tubing between the platform and the shorter #104 brackets for about $40. It worked great.

Yep. What he said! I did the same to my ‘99 205v. I used 2” HDPE. Spent about $40. Dealer closest to me wanted almost $500 for the taller brackets.

In the attached pic you can kind of see where the added parts are. Only reason it is above the water in the pic is because boat was empty but about 800lbs of ballast filled in the bow (300lb KGB plus about 500lb in my 750 sack that I use in the walkway). Rear ballast was empty. If I fill the 750s in the back then it still sinks the platform, but not as bad.
