Wife's New Tow Vehicle
After shopping, driving, comparing and lots of talking.
She chose on her own. The Ford F-150 Platinum with the new EcoBoost over the Tahoe and Expedition. |

Your wife has good taste. Platinum edition. Nice. Just got the FX4 w/the EcoBoost. Love it.

Put the leveling kit on the rear...bring it down and give it a nice stance.
Nice truck! |

Nice truck! I'd be curious to hear what the highway mpg is after she breaks it in. I've heard it's anywhere from 22-25 mpg!
Hopefully Ford will put that engine in an Expedition soon.

When buying mine last week, the dealer said Ford is trying to get that motor as an option in a few of their other vehicles by as early as 2013. They're having a hard time keeping up with these in the trucks. Did not mention Expedition but if they're that popular, I'm sure someone is working on it.

Excellent truck, but why is the license plate not centered on the bumper?

The Eco boost requires lots of air flow and they had to move the license plate to the side to get max air flow to the motor.
Sweet Ride! Love those trucks. |
