WetSounds Equalizer Install

Hey everyone...Wanting to install my WS Equalizer in my new to me X-45 and I have a few questions. It is a 2008 model and I have attached a picture of where I plan on putting the equalizer, under the steering wheel.

1. Where is everyone getting their power for the equalizer?
2. Should my power source be the clarion unit by the throttle?
3. Is there a way to run the RCAs under the floor instead of around the boat to the amps?

Any tips or advice is much appreciated. Coming from my early model X30, the head unit was on the driver's dash and was a simple install of the equalizer.

Thanks!

1) If purchased new from an authorized dealer, I always like to suggest getting wiring, setup and tuning tips them. They should always be a resource for assistance. This can make the difference in performance and preventing unwanted noise.
2) no. The clarion remote is a self-contained unit that connects directly to the head via a proprietary cable.
3) I think so, but its not glaringly easy access.

This is where mine is installed on the X45 I received this past summer. Little more difficult install but I like how it looks. I the power is coming directly from the stereo battery (+ and -). The RCAs follow a lot of the factory wiring around the front of the boat.

Your install looks awesome and clean! I'm going to give mine a shot in the next few weeks. Hopefully it won't be too bad since it is my second install.

For anyone searching for the same thing in the future, I figured I'd throw in my method

not as clean as yours (yours looks great!) but I didn't want to cut into the dash
