2018 Klipsch audio UPDATE

Follow up on my last post about the XT23 with the new Klipsch system. At fist the speakers were not sounding that good at all. However, after a few minor tweaks, and now playing music through the USB cord, the speakers sound amazing. The clarity is off the charts. Even at full volume the sound is as crisp as it is at low volumes. The tower speakers do not distort when cranked as compared to the JL's. Overall, this is the best in boat speaker system I have heard that has come straight from the factory

Glad to hear some positive feedback about the system. Can't wait to hear it myself.

Anyone know what amps the Klipsch stuff runs at? What amplifiers come in the boat?

Some numbers would be nice

2018 Klipsch Audio UPDATE - 5ch. pictures

We have our extra amps for the R & D we are doing for our demo 18 X23 . Here are some pictures of the 5ch., the 1ch. we have is the same.

Our first outing in the boat was incredible. However, we left the stereo off most of the time due to extreme floor-noise, that was best described as a constant buzz, that was not easily forgotten. We only ordered the in boat audio with 6 - 8", 2 - 10" subs, powered by the 5ch. & 1ch. amps; no tower amp or tower speakers as of now. So there is definite motivation to create a solution for an upgrade.

Can you not add tower speakers with the current setup?

How would you compare the stock speakers to JL/Wetsounds?

that looks very proprietary.

I like how ... "it played clear all the way through high volumes" is a feature and not standard... that shouldnt be an issue with any properly tune / setup stereo.

FLoor noise? as in buzzing through the speakers??
