86 Restoration Project

My uncle bought this new in 86 and ive had it for about 13 years now..

Im starting my resto with gelcoat, new rainbow graphics, carpet, upholstery, new dash and switches/gauges, repaint windshield frame and other varies parts, also going to raise seat and tint windshield.. I plan on adding a small matching fold down pylon seat right behind driver seat facing rear...

Ive got all upholstery out and dismantled most of my dash, i plan to get the dash face plates remade out of aluminium and powder coated black but i have a crack in the upper back part that the gauges sit in and it screws to the football dome...

My First QUESTION is where would you guys suggest i have this piece remade? Have to be plastic?
