Larry's New Dodge EcoDiesel

Well , I spent about a month researching prices , options , along with my needs vs wants.
Got a great deal (I think) on a leftover 2018 1500 Laramie Eco diesel.

Key Options above base Laramie
-Diesel
-Tow Package ( Mirrors/Electric Break control)
- 3.9 rear Diff
-ramBox ( me likes)
-Leather Buckets with Heat and Vent

25.5 MPG on 55 mile trek from dealer to home. Hope thats a real #.

Stereo is pretty Awesome.

On a side note , I put my 2016 Tacoma w -90,000 miles on craiglist , it sold for asking price in 15 minutes. People called all weekend to buy it. hmmmm. ?
hope thats not a sign.

this is the 1st US "brand" vehicle I have ever purchased.

Happy so far, its super nice inside.

Good looking truck Larry! Let us know how you like it after towing. Thinking of dropping back to a 1/2 ton from an F250.

Awesome, now spend some time at https://www.ram1500diesel.com/. Don't get scared off by all the horror stories. Visit Green Diesel Engineering website, the tune wakes up a sleepy truck.

Does this mean you're upgrading the X20 to a BIG boat?

good choice! I have a friend with one a few years older (maybe 2015?) with about 70k miles on it, absolutely loves it. Your mileage should increase a little bit once you get a few miles on it and learn how to drive it without your foot in the pedals running empty.

I looked up the MaxTow for my config, seams to be around 8800lb, which affords my Passengers /Cargo ..along with the X20...
Happy to have a bit more room than my Tacoma.

*1st Downside...Parking at the Local Mexican Restaurant last night. not fun

$26k @ 90k , had some deep scratches along passenger side, needed all new 285s (80k on them) and a puncture in rear seat.

Rough trade online was $26,500
Dealers offered $21k

I was happy, Buyer was happy.

I could have gotten more, but wanted to move on

Someone called(texted) about the X20 last night. Not sure where we are heading with boats in 2019.
We barely got to use this year .. so we may keep it "for Once"
