440, does it not bother you that the red on the tower and the red interior don't match?

I never understood why MC doesn't match those colors. Maybe its just the pictures.

Also, didn't you have your Xstar ceramic coating. Did that not help with water spots coming off easy?

hey 440 why the 6.2 instead of the 7.4? i've seen in other posts you have had the 7.4 and said the fuel usage is the same.

due to a force of nature i'll be ordering a new boat this winter. i'm between the x22 and x24 and really want to try out the 7.4.

Ya, not 100% sure yet, but I might do a full swap over to JL VXi amps, and the new M6 series JL speakers. Iíd still probably keep the touchscreen head unit controls and dsp/zone control.

It doesnít bother me all that much. Often times, even when a boat company tries to match upholstery, it still doesnít match anyway.

I did ceramic coat it. It did help for removing the water spots a lot easier, but it doesnít help with preventing them in the first place. Iíll be ceramic coating the X24 as well.

Due to the fact that I upgrade every year, the 6.2 is the smarter move. The 7.4 upcharge is too much to repeatedly pay it, and then turn around and lose most of that upcharge every year.

I have found that they are not worth any more on the used market..... not between those two engines anyway. I wouldnít even think of doing the 5500. Used buyers never like the small engine. But they donít seem to care all that much, as long as it has an upgraded engine.

are you worried about the color combo in the interior inhibiting resale at all?
