The lake is just not very deep. Itís deepest spot is only 50 feet, and averages a pretty flat 30-40. The deeper lakes around here average about 10-15 degrees colder than this one in the summer. We are lucky in that regard.

I would expect the handling to degrade with the size/weight of the boat. These things are getting to be the size of the 24' and 26' Sun Dancers that Sea Ray used to make. With size/weight comes trade offs. Like driving an F250 King Cab versus a Ford Ranger.

Very nice boat BTW.

Very Nice boat!!!

I am in south texas and we usually can go into October early November easy but we haven't been on the water in 4 weeks we have had a monsoon here. 23 plus inches in 3 weeks.

Not sure what is worse not getting on the water because of the temps or the flooding??

That's a great looking boat. Its looks massive off the trailer. How do the X24 and Xstar compare in terms of size on and off the trailer.

I do agree with you that I would have thought they would use the bigger rudder. Did you get Dockstar?

Great looking boat! Any word as to why it came on a blue trailer?

They are the same size (overall height), but the X24 is obviously longer. From the front, the x24 looks taller because the bow doesnít slope as much as the XStar.

I did get dockstar again.

Is that a dealer or your garage? There are two more MCs in the parking lot!
