Thoughts on White Stitching

Iíve read some older posts that itís a bad idea. People had problems with it turning yellow. Any recent experience with it? Iím thinking about going with Tan interior and White X stitching. Thanks.

I agree it does turn yellow from the water. I was able to bring it back white with hydrogen peroxide and a soft bristle brush but it was still a pain. I would do another color.

x2 my experience is that it stain yellow even with the upmost care. Unless you boat in Lake Tahoe where the water is crystal clear choose a colored thread.

I’m constantly cleaning the white stitching. Go dark!

Are you going with the standard stitch pattern or X-stitching?

Suntan lotion will discolor white thread as well. Go with a dark color.
