Stud Rant

So seriously how hard can it be to find a wheel stud for an 07 trailer?

Let me tell you............almost no one has them. We shouldn't have to break out a set of digital calipers to order a part online from a third party. Not sure how a part so readily available for every other trailer/vehicle on planet earth can be tracked down in 2 minutes should absorb so much time. Especially for the pure fact that if you need a wheel stud its probably pretty darn pertinent to have one.

FYI for an 07 with these measurements you should be able to order them with this part # from:

http://www.trailerpartsdepot.com/p-6...x-2-1-16-.aspx

STUD-WHEEL DRIVE-IN 1/2-20 x
2 1/16"
Replacement Trailer Hub Wheel Stud Pressed in 1/2-20 x 2-1/16"
Zinc Plated Steel
A= Length 2.09
B= Length .65
C= Knuled Dia .60

Part #ST504

I took one in to a local O'Reilly Auto. The guy dug around until he found a match. As I recall, it matched up to a Chevy 1500 4X4 from either the early 80's or late 70's.

No dice here at Napa, o Reilly (said they had it and they didn't fit), advanced, Agri supply, northern, or tractor supply. Also tried 3 trailer shops lol. I was however asked at o Reilly what a lugnut was so I think I wasn't working with the sharpest knives in the drawer. It did add a bit of humor to the situation though.
