Just some thoughts, most already stated.

I have a 2009 X-15. I fill all 3 hard tanks full. We have 2- 600 lb bags in the rear. To surf port side, I feel port side full , about 500 lbs and add about 200 lbs to starboard side. I mount a mission Delta on lowest level right below rear vent on the starboard side

Everyone sits on port side. Run 10.6 MPH. I believe you have plenty of weight to get started. I am around 2000lbs also. If surfing port, extra weight under port seat will always help push. Always have someone set in rear port seat. I have 2 large batteries under my rear port seat.

I am at 6300 feet elevation. I adjust attitude plate to around 19%. Wave is beautitful. We can surf 10-15 feet back. Having a phase 5 Model X was a key purchase for us. Everyone loves that board. I have had beginners throw the rope in first day and surf all the way around the lake.

Just get a good board and get some ride time in, it will click.

As others have said, just remember to allow boat to slow down and turn opposiste of the side you our surfing on. Hope that helps.

When the boat is resting on the bottom of the lake then you have it dialed in perfectly!!

I know you can put 4K in an x star pretty easily and it doesn't care.

Wonder what they used to run in the 03-11 star for the tour? Seems like I remember 5500?

Takes talent to drive an 03-11 with anything over 3500 imo. Gotta worry about swamping the front and the back lol
