You know, I avoided this thread for what, a month or two because I had no interest in seeing young Aric'sX15 ruin a good looking S&S.

Glad I finally took a peak. Nice looking boat!

In all honesty, Aric pointing out that the wake shaping cutting boards were going to be sold to the public and the guy could receive a phone call from unimpressed Malibu lawyers is tamer than being flamed for being young and having pictures of him posted... The response to his comments in that thread were much more derogatory than his comments on the OP.

Ahhhh Team Talk... Where middle aged men refer to their '93 205's as a Ferrari and get irked that 'kids' buy the same boats strictly for laughs and enjoyment...

Aric has an '85 that was around before he was born. He needs help. He bought the boat as a slalom tug, isn't that what people want them used for? I mean, he's likely brutal at slalom, but good god, who cares?!

Can someone change the title for the thread? i thought it was clever at first. haha.

You know AS, I guess its just the nature of the beast. Im sure there is a mix of a lot of things that naturally brings people to hate on me. sometimes it is deserved, and others (like posting me and my family for god sakes) was completely uncalled for. I take care of my crap just as the guy who thinks his boat is a ferrari, even though this 85 cost 1/12th of how much my parents boat that i used cost, yet i treat them the same. I am here for all the same reasons everyone else is, get some help, maybe give a little. maybe if this place is still around when I am 30 I will get a little more respect. I was born and raised on MC's, so my MCCOD is just as strong as everyone else's.

BTW I actually picked up my first ski last week, a Connelly HP or something like that for a hundred bucks from my local shop. got up and played around on a ski for the first time in 3 years. just that weird rooster tail on the 85 that makes it a little harder to cross.

Sooo... You don't protest the 'brutal at slalom' comment? That's all I noticed there...

I bought a new ski last year and a course this year. Been playing on it all summer and having fun. I'm actually looking for a boat like yours to leave at my lake and use in the early AM before the ballast is full and people have fun. This summer is my first summer in the course in 10 years and I was on the Alberta team as a kid. I suuuuuuuck!

It is such a workout.. Id like to think I'm decent at wake boarding, but dang this is a whole other level! I got tired quick! I do cross fit every day and this still made me sore. lol

At 35, I can trade wakeboard sets all day. I can make maybe 3-4 passes through the course at 34MPH, twice a day, in the morning and the evening. I only get to ski on weekends though, so conditioning comes awful slow. Plus, I'm Canadian, it's cold here! It was 2*C at my lake lot Monday!
