It's unfortunate that money decides the winner and places the wrong candidates... when voting I always feel I am choosing the lesser of the evils in every choice.

Unfortunately too many people remember the last thing they hear from the lame-stream media. these silly initial primaries are a money grab to move forward. And it all starts with the congressional votes that people forget about...

Is it rational to blame Romney for being successful? I would say he is better for the country than the freeloader in the WhiteHouse?
I am concerned Romney would protect corporations more and more.

I would like to be able to elect someone who can make several changes; no special rules for Congress - they must live by the same ones we do. No special perks. That would be a good start

unfortunately it's politics and not a discipline governed by logic.

A good start would be to throw all of them out of office and cancel all the benefits and perks they have given themselves---past and present. Break some of the promises they gave to themselves for a change instead of the voters. Bar them from ever participating in politics for the rest of their lives. Strict term limits and a change to the constitution that puts those elected thief's compensation in the direct hands of the voter.

Here in Illinois we produce a different effect. We expect our governors to serve 2 terms...one in office and one in jail... We also produce useless senators that become president....

THE Dr. Ron Paul has opted out of the congressional health care benefits and gives back all of the unused money in his yearly expense budget that congressmen get. He gives it back because it doesn't belong to him, it is tax money from the people and what he doesn't use fulfilling his job as U.S. Representative he returns. A real statesman like this doesn't come along very often. I hope we sieze this opportunity to elect him.
