Gas is now neon yellow.

Iíve bewn going to the same gas station for 9 yrs now. All of a sudden gas seems to be neon yellow .........spoke to the clerk he said itís the ďsummer blend ď. Like I said Iíve been getting gas from same station for years never been neon. Itís a BP if that matters . And yes I know I will probably get flamed for running 87 , but thatís what manual calls for in the PCM 343.

Anbody else experience this ?

I run 87 because why not. manual says runs on 87, and it's the same engine clock and specs as my GMC Sierra 2500. But made for water....or something like that.

Also now that you mention the gas thing now im going to go look next time I fill up my tanks. I actually did look and notice it seemed pretty yellow. I'll do that napkin test like you did.

P.S. LOL the summer blend. that guy didn't miss a beat. I wouldn't think that is the cause of the neon color but i'm no gas engineer.

I'm going to guess no. No gas should be yellow. To me, that just means it's been sitting the tank too long and has gone bad.

Should be clear white. Strange... even non taxed fuel is red dyed.

Hows boat running?
