2016 x20 transom lights

I have a 2016 X20 with no transom light but I'm adding one (drain plug light). How do I wire it to the factory switch? The switch already lights up like its hot. I hear that my boat is prewired for it.

My 14' X2 is the same way. If you look at the transom there should be a wire loom with it labeled and bundled up in there (mine was next to blower/ballast pumps). Please share pics when complete, I'm thinking of going same route to avoid drilling holes

Which plug light are you using and does your boat have the newer big plastic plug?
