fulltime in salt in a freshwater x2?

[email protected] said: Additions to SS boats

a)100% closed cooling including exhaust manifolds
b) Tinned wiring along w/ upgraded wiring harness' and couplings (Now standard on all MC Boats)
c) additional stainless steel Seat and storage shocks
d) Scuppered interior
e) No carpet in storage areas
f) Hydraulic steering NO CABLE to go bad
g) galvinized trailer
h) compass
i) High mount starter and alternator
j) scaraficial zincs and annodes COMMON WIRE TO GROUND

In totality...about 5-6 K in total price depending on trailer and boat

Worth the proper investment

Thanks for the info Jim and others. A few questions please about full timing in salt w a freshwater X2:

--What kind of closed cooling system for my (obviously fresh water) '05 X2 RPT-1?

--I got a mastercraft dual axle painted box/tubular steel trailer w/ my X2. Can it be galvanized?

--Are exterior metal parts of the boat gonna corrode quickly and look bad? Preventable with a sealant? W/ elbow grease?

I'd like to keep my boat if it makes sense... since I'd have to come out of pocket to sell mine and buy a used ss with 'unknowns.'

Thanks for ideas

Stu
