We are looking at these too and will wait until June for the new Expedition to come out. I think the expedition has a better layout. We didn't like that the Rear seat in a Tahoe has you sitting on the floor knees to your chin.

It is getting silly. I guess the sales are always the payments for most customers, sure I can afford $830/month for 72 months! gimme those chrome rims. Free intrest isn't free you are paying it up front for that in th MSRP pricing. And even if you pay "cash" you are still paying it, it was quite a coup that the manufacturers pulled off. And how sad is it that they offer 8-10k off of MSRP before you even show up? so what is the real price of a vehicle??? MSRP or 10K off of MSRP? and do you negotiate below that 10K? sorta that whole it is on sale mentality hurry up before they are all gone!!! ... my response is always... well another one just came off the assembly line.

however will say the Tahoe looked awesome as a tow vehicle.
No way would I pay $70k for a chevy when it will only be worth $45k the minute you drive it off the lot. GM needs to work on resale value's.

Rebuild the transmission in the Avalanche. Mine went right at 100k but it only cost me $2200 for a rebuild with 36k warranty.

+1
I think that would be a great option that way you can wait for a slightly used preowned with full warranty for half the price.

+2 on the rebuild and keep trucking... $70k vs. $4k (or less)? Let me know if you are feeling guilt ridden for not spending the extra $66k...I'll send you my address and you can make the check out to MasterCraft memo line = 2014 Prostar 190.

You would rather have a 2014 prostar than your 1992 model?????

True... but some depreciate much worse than others and GM has been known for there terrible resale values in the past.

I dont know the resale values on these cars in Canada. They might be better? I work hard for my money so when I make a $$$ purchase I like to know that I will be able to get top dollar for it when its time to sell the item.
