Thumbs up

Yes, picked it up on Saturday. Came with a bunch of extras. The guy I bought it from (2nd owner) was very MCOCD. He kept all the old parts, like spark plugs and impellers. Very cool guy, and very particular about his boat.

Few things I want to correct, and any input will help.
1. Want to replace SNS decals to original. You can see were the old ones came off due to fading, the replacements haven't been on as long, so hoping there will be no fading.
2. Original owner put 2 small red lights under rub rail above platform, would like to remove and repair.
3. Owner put in aftermarket depth sounder, would like to put in factory one.
4. Need switch panel bezel, 4 corner typical crack.
5. Original owner glued SS letters to air cleaner cover. Kinda looks like a chevy letter. Want to replace cover maybe?
6. Brakes on trailer need some love.

But overall for 25yrs this boat is super clean, well documented and runs like a top. 790hrs
Came with a lot of cool extras, and T-Top was signed by Sammy Duvall and Eric Perez!
25th year anniversary banner, needs a little repair but cool. Net for T-Top, paint matched side view mirror, Original almost new teak deck, original service manual with up to date documentation, MC videos and brochures.

Nice find. Too bad they all don't come that way.

You spoke of things to do to enjoy the personalization; I bought a keeper 93 a few years back. Got to looking....something didn't seem right...an open spark source in the same confined space as the fuel cell (and no blower in the rear compartment).

I moved the battery up front where you have the anchor (and added a second battery system) and added a blower in the rear compartment. Just seemed like the thing to do. In doing that, I added new cables for the hot and ground from the battery, etc. Moved the fuel filter from the stringer to the rear compartment and hung it on the inside of the hull just above where the battery used to be. Much easier to change the fuel filter While there, I ran all new fuel line. It never ends.

Nice find indeed. I gave it a thought when it was first posted but I'm a long way away. Now that I see from your photos of how nice it is, I should have made the 6000 mile round trip.

There's a fellow near me that will make the "Stars and Stripe" logo. You have the only official designated option (1993) of "Stars and Stripes."

I had a guy here on the forum to make the switch panel for me as a spare. It looks OK if in fact you are looking for a new one. Can't find them anywhere else.

Put you a marine Holley 4160 / 600cfm carb on that manifold and you're good to go.

Thanks Waterlogged!!
Any contact info would be great! I do want to put the original Stars and stripes decals on. Contact for the switch plate would be great! I tried searching the forum this morning and couldn't find it. Thanks for the update tips! The guy I bought from did some adjusting (needle sets) on the factory carb, it fires right up and runs like a scalded dog
Thanks for any help! - John
