Yes, that's correct. Now that I've ridden my soulcraft for a while I went to ride the koal (which is one of the best boards I had owned) it felt so slow to respond. Get a soulcraft if you can spend the dough, you will be happy with its performance. Ryan Woon on here can get you one ordered. Give him your boat, weight and height and he will tell you what size to get.

I have the 4'6"diamond tip fang tail.

Haven't ridden it yet, but I have a Doomswell Bigstep being shaped at the moment. Hopefully I'll be able to give a review on it in a couple weeks. They're a smaller company, but a few of their riders are consistently on the podiums. Check them out on fb, instagram, or their website. Brocks a great guy (the owner) and he'll get you set up with something based on your size and surf style.

Absolute night and day difference bewteen production boards and custom surfboards. I'm onto Day 1 boards now (have Soulcraft and Walker boards as well), and the Day 1 boards are simply amazing. I'd highly reccomend them. And no, I'm not affiliated with the company.

Phase 5 Aku if you are looking for a surf style board. It's new this year, and a great board.

Any doomswell shape is going to be far and wide cheaper than soulcrap. (Fun kidding don't take it personal)

As well Day 1 wake are both my personal favorites. I have owned and ridden phase 5, ronix, hyperlite, liquid force, soulcraft fang, secret spot, Humanoid, gator, victoria skim ... and I'll tell you, Doomswell and Day1Wake are the est IMHO
