2015 Escalade here with 83,000 miles with 8 speed. one thing to compare Denali and Escalade is warranty is longer I believe - 4 years 50k vs 3 years 36. 2015 and 2016 years had full service included through 50k. Not sure if still done on 18's. screen is bigger on Escalades vs Denali if you care. Cadillac service is way different than GMC service at local dealers here based on my experience at both

We have a 2013 Escalade ESV with the 6.2. Its our favorite SUV we've owned. (Tahoe, Expedition, Explorer) The fit, comfort and reliability has been great. Nothing but normal maintenance. It currently has 80K on it and its still running as strong as it did new. We are considering a newish one. '16-'18. In 2013 we did look at the Denali but at that time the interior looked exactly like our Tahoe and we wanted something different. I agree with the Caddy dealer being better as it relates to after the purchase. They definitely treat you well. The new GMC's are completely different in appearance and look great. We will be looking at both again but this is my wife's everyday car and she loves her Caddy. The new Suburbans look nice and I just saw they have a "Premier line" that comes with a 6.2 I believe....we may look into that as well. I don't think you can go wrong with either the Caddy or GMC.

Oh and when we tow our 197...you don't even know its there!!!

I’ve got a 2017 Expedition EL Limited 4wd. After 29,000 miles over the last 2 years, the best economy I’ve gotten was 17.6 mpg calculated (vs the 18.4 mpg displayed on the trip computer). That was covering 517 miles in 7 hrs 40 minutes from Toledo to Hollywood with 3 people and a suitcase in the car.

Towing the MariStar 245 knocks the economy down to the 8s.
