fuel gauge

I have a 94 Maristar 225 and the fuel gauge is not working. I understand there is a float in the gas tank that controls the gauge and could be the issue or it could be a number of other things. Does anyone have any information on the fuel gauge? thanks

The sending unit in the tank probably needs replacing for it to read correctly throughout the gauge and tank.
Replacements can be found at a dealer, http://www.skidim.com/products.asp?dept=1088 and here, http://www.isspro.com/special.php, as a start.
