Painting the console
Has anyone painted their console to update the look? I searched all the painting threads on here but didn't see anything. My boat is a 99' Maristar 230. Thanks a lot

Friend of mine painted his Baja from brown to black. It seemed to hold up fine the 2-3 years he kept the boat. Only thing I thought was that it was a little on the glossy side.

I recall a thread by someone on this forum that has done some updating of dash parts with a water dip type process. Mae it look like carbon fiber, I think. Don't know what it is called or how expensive it is.
Something like this would be pretty easy for a DIYer - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7N5N-AYaENI |

Here someone paints his dash with a vinyl color.. would be interesting if the coating holds a long time, his result looks fine bit I think the sun could be aggressive to that coatings.
