WTB Prostar 205 EFI, I think.....

Hi all,

I'm in the market for a new ski boat. Skiing will be the primary activity with tubing for the little people. I've been looking around and given my criteria (bow seating, EFI, good slalom wake, and around $15k for a clean solid boat), I think I am looking at a 205 in the 94-95 model years, but later years would work too if the price is right. I have also come across a couple Malibu Responses that appear to be quite nice options as well. I guess I am willing to go to $20k for something that is a bit newer and a bit nicer but I only live on a lake in Wisconsin for about 6 weeks a year and the rest of the time I am in the mountains of Utah with access to local reservoirs, so spending a ridiculous amount of money on a boat at this point does not seem rational. But rational is relative...

If you come across any killer deals out there, drop me a line. I'm not in a big hurry anymore as the season is rapidly coming to an end out here, but would jump for the right opportunity.

You guys have been very helpful, thank you very much.

That is a good do it all boat. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Don't have any leads for you but keep an eye on craigslist. It's getting to be the right time to buy. Good luck.

From your description this is a perfect boat for you. Also itís great for beginners to practice wakeboarding on.

I was out on my brother-in laws yesterday. He has 1,600 hours on his and she still runs like a champ.

Mine looks identical to the one above by waterbuffalo. I have no tower, DD has a tower.

This one is clean but high priced IMO. Found nearly the exact same boat/colors/hours last week in Michigan for $9900 but it sold in less than a day.
