Ivan hates going in the water, unless it's 90+

Brody prefers to ease into the water. We have a large rubber mat that we hang over the dock and I have to get in the water and coax him off the mat. Once his fat butt sinks the mat deep enough, he does what he calls “jumping”.

Our oldest son temporarily moved back home a few years ago and brought his puppy Brody. When he moved back out we ended keeping Brody…the one on the right. Now my youngest couldn’t swing it on his own so he is back at the house for a while. His girlfriend just got a Pit puppy (Mae) and with their schedules she spends most of her time in a crate. My son brings Mae to the house because we have a fenced in back yard, and I told my wife “No way, no how, we are NOT keeping another dog!”
I keep telling myself that, but I know that we end up with Mae as well.

That is a darn cute dog. Hard to resist, for sure.
