Thank you all for the constructive feedback and comments. I contacted a guy that used to work in the parts department at the dealership, unfortunately there is nothing that he can do but he did give me the number of two people at MC that he had business cards for. I guess I can give them a call and see if they can guide me in the right direction.

To all the posters who said to have it installed by another local dealer there are a couple of issues:

1) The closest dealer is over two hours away (which isn't awful, but difficult), and

2) I'd then have to pay for the installation twice. I already paid for it at Carolina Watersports and I bet it would be hard convincing another dealer to install it for free (The installation was cost was $2k). Maybe another dealer will take the kit in on trade with the boat and give me a decent deal on an X-23, who knows...

If not it looks like I'll be putting the kit in the storage unit to rot away.

Thanks again for all of your help.

and no nordicron, you don't see me over on planet nautique telling people how much better mc.

I do hope finley is able to get a hold of someone and get his money back!

No it's not like that at all. Fct3 freeze issue is entirely different. That was a design flaw and in my opinion coulda certainly been handled better by both parties.

MC didn't screw up here it's a bad dealer issue but in my opinion I think MC would want to step up and help out. Dealers are an extension of the manufacture and in this situation it's not to much to ask for alittle assistance. Not sure why u guys are so sensitive. But anyway the owner said he got some names and I'm guessing this will be resolved for him.

P.s. Don't get me started on the x25! . Kidding!!!!!

Since you are looking to upgrade will you be trading in or selling yourself? If you trade in just include the kit value with what you were looking to get trade in wise. They'll just throw it on and sell the boat that way. Should be a win win for both involved.
