Lower back issues...........

I only work with supermodel cases but I will make an exception here.

I agree with pmkkdx, itís more or less the muscles tightening up, pulling your spine, up, down, all around to the point weíre it hurts your nerve, and your disc.

And one thing I have learned in life was carry a big wallet but donít leave it in your pocket all the time . Because thatís all thatís needed to set your back off wack. Posture is a big thing too. Watch, pay attention to how your lifting, and when your back gets sore.

Most importantly massage those back muscles to loses them up. I have tried the electric therapy with it only making it worse. So do be careful what method you choose.

I have herniated L4/L5 ... similar issues ... went to a chiropractor who was great but I just could never get comfortable with someone cracking my back and neck ... I would tense up walking in so it just never help

What helps me is stretching and muscle strengthening ... unfortunately my routine sucks so as soon as I feel good I fall off the bandwagon. Once a year it just goes out and I am twisted like a banana for a couple days

so as I am sitting in a hotel in Tokyo I will now go do my stretches

good luck

ur back looks fine to me...I have L4-5/S1 and couple spondi's...its all about core work as weakness there is most peoples prob and root of most issues. Proper PT will loosen erectors up and get those hip flexors moving. Mobility first, and core right after. Pilates (yoga has too much twisting for me), BFR training, lots of stretching and warm up. Great article in mens Journal this month about how to strengthen your back...hint: focus on core.
Chiro is like a witch doctor...waving bag of herbs and sage over u does same thing.

yikes. what are you guys doing to your backs, this can't just happen over night. I'm 31 and while I have some lower back pain I'm fairly certain it's because some days I spend 12 hours sitting in a chair at a computer, and not from my spine being all contorted like that. I'm a pretty active person but I don't want to be having these issues in my 40s and above.

Iím 33 and have already had a microdiscectomy. Best surgery I have ever had. Complete sciatic relief after 3 months and already back in the gym.
