NXT22 Tower wonít lock back in place

I just drove 300 miles with my tower down and now when I raise it, the mounts wonít connect into each other. It seems to have shifted a few millimeters forward. Thus I cannot secure the tower in the up right position and use the boat. I donít really want to unscrew all the mounting pieces that are secured to the boat, but not sure if I have any other choice. Any ideas? Thanks

Can you not just push it back into place with hand pressure? On my zero flex they never lined up automatically on their own. I have to just put a little pressure and they pop right together

Unfortunately, this tower is super solid and only flexes side to side, not forward/ backwards. I ended up taking it to the boat shop and after 2 hours with 3 guys we got it back into alignment by loosening and adjusting the mounts. It was a huge pain in the butt.

Your not suppose to tow with tower down on those towers. I wish we could without having issues would make my life easier.

Hahaha, this is funny (but Iím actually pissed) because my dealer reprimanded me for towing with the tower up and this was the first time I actually towed with it down. This would also explain why there was no good spot to fold the Bimini too. Oh well... live and learn!
