Glad to see this boat getting some good use. Was wondering how it's been performing since we spoke couple years ago. I owned the original 21' Warlock Duramax boat, sold it two years back, it's out west in sunny CA again. But I've helped out on a several other builds since. Currently doing a twin 900hp offshore build for a client.

On your props, I would suggest jumping up into the mid/high 20's for pitch if you can try one. Because you have that stock VNT turbo, you won't suffer any spooling issues at all. Are you still at a 1:26 ratio? If so, you could go even higher.

At 1:26 ratio with a 37px15.5 my top speed was 85mph at 4000R. But I had 700hp to spin it. Another boat I've been involved with runs a .86 overdrive with a 26px17.5 and is in mid 50's right now at under 3500R. Due to the size limit, you'd need to go closer to 30p to reach 50mph and stay under 4,000R's.

Suggest plugging your current numbers into a prop slip calculator to find where you are now. Then just change pitch # and it should be very close to actual end results.

Bests

-K

Big thank you to Eric at OJ props. He has been very helpful with prop testing and selection. He is sending me out a 16" prop to test out this week.

We have not been able to get back on the water to test out the new OJ prop yet. We are preparing for a big event here in NorCal and should have the boat featured on Diesel World magazine soon.

Had a chance to ad a little ballast and a surf plate this weekend. First time on the Lake this year and still testing props.
Boat ran good and wake was decent at 12 mph.
