I emailed Zach to see if they need more people to testify in support for this bill. I live just outside Madison so it wouldn't be a problem for me to testify. The funny thing is that I worked for Senator Terry Moulton when I was a kid building his musky lures long before he had political aspirations.

Before my wife and I had kids we would get up at 6AM at our cabin and she would drive without a spotter so I could get a couple runs in on perfect water. 2-3 runs and I would be done. I was always worried we were going to get pulled over, but never saw the sheriff.

Any news from the hearing? I believe it started today at noon. Just wondering how it went.

The meeting went well today. Many people showed up in support and only a few against. There are a couple of legislatures in the SE region who may want to fight this but we are not sure yet.

That'a encouraging. You would think that those opposed would recognize that the law would allow for localized modification to require a spotter...

love the comments about kayaks. Idiots shouldn't be far enough away from the banks to get hit by a boat. No different than driving a car and checking all mirrors, and we do not need a spotter there!

Yeah, thought that was funny as well.

This is huge since getting one of the wives up in the morning to spot is a pain.
