Speaker wire suggestions

Changing out audio components in my x2. Wet Sounds in cockpit (sw-65). Will have 4 tower speakers (6 1/2") that I have not purchased yet. What gauge speaker wire would you suggest to each. Running just 2 amps.

If you are going to take the time to run new speaker wire, I would redo everything with 12 gauge. You never know when you will change out the speakers and want to run bigger power to them, although 14 would be sufficient.

I just installed this wire in my boat and I am very pleased with the outcome:

+1

http://genuinedealz.com/ as an alternate place to consider. Tinned wire all the way.

Cant imagine you will be pushing them wit more then 200W each, so 14ga would be fine all the way around. Now, with 4 pods on the tower, I would try to avoid running 4 sets of 2-con. I would run a 2-con for each side, and parallel a pair. Your amp choice here, will have some influence.

Thanks for the info. I'm assuming when running parallel to simply "jump" off to splice in another correct.?
