07 X15 Fly high Ballast Upgrade 460lbs ea.

Guys i know couple of you who replied in my other thread said to go with the 750lb bags , but i went out to the boat again and the same measurements came out . 30''L ,20''T, 20''W
30inches Long was a accurate measurement swell as the 20inches tall.

i ordered the Custom Fit Ballast Upgrade for MasterCraft X-2, X-15, X-30, and X-45
wich has all hardware needed for the add on as well as the two fly high 460lb ea. bags
ALSO called both stores, {Waterskis and Wake makers} and both said ,due to my small rear locker size this would be the best i can really do , so i went with Waterskis just because there price was a little better with the same setup.

here is the link below
http://www.waterskis.com/Custom-Mast...st_upgrade.htm

the with is about 23inches wide from bottom but the shape of the hull starts to separate and goes as wide as 25inches . so the new measurements pushing it would be 30''L,25''W,20''T
BEING THAT SAID other option i have is another kit wake makers offers but they said i will be pushing it , bag its one of there brands and it does measure 30L,25W,20T and its bag.
although the bag doesn't seem quite as strong as durable as fly high.

what do you guys think?
should i stick with the dual 460lbs bags made specially for my boat and add a couple 50lb lead bags or should i go with the other setup but won't be a perfect fitment.

also i always have 4 or more people with me.
additional to the fat sacks i have a suck gate that i will be using.

With 4 adults that should be decently over 2000lbs of ballast total including all had tanks and the 460s. I think that sounds pretty good.

I am at 2600 of water but its usually only one grown human and two 1/2 humans in the boat while surfing. If i have more adults i lay off on some of the h2o ballast.

Like i said before the 750lb bags do fill more than 460 but less than 750 and when i get agressive they are big so start pushing on stuff in the locker.

I thinks the 460s, pumbed in sound good.

That should be scads. You could maybe hold off on the lead until you test it with all the water plus people. The factory and all bags you described should add up to 2400ish lbs. Add 3-4 adults and you're at close to 3000lbs.

Unless the 2007 X15 is different than my 2006 X15, you can easily fit a 900 Sumo Sac in the rear lockers. My 900 extends under the rear seat up toward the batteries. The 900 sacs are 50" long. I can't fill it completely before it starts hitting the support for the seat back, but I am getting at least 750 lbs in there. I have been running this setup for 3 years and it doesn't put any adverse pressure on anything inside the locker.

I couldn't get the larger suckgates to stay on my hull, because the small step at the bottom. The larger suction cups hang off the edge. I am getting ready to try the BOBV5 which has smaller cups. So, hopefully that will work.

Without a suckgate, I run KGB + front IBS full, rear port hard tank full and 900 sumo as full as I can get it. Zero weight in the starboard rear. In addition, 1 adult 150lb+ sitting in the rear port corner. That setup gives me a really good surf wave.

I don't like lead because you always have to be carrying it around. Not very efficient when you are cruising. If you can get the suckgate to stay on, the 460 bags will be fine. If not, you will need more weight from my experience.

I bet the black sumo at 40L'' 20T'' 20W'' and 650lbs would fit like a glove.

sorry for the late reply but i haven't bought anything for the bow , i will be looking to get something from wake masters or wake skiers most likely the one shipped as a V for direct fitment , i think they told me it was a 650 V shaped bag that would fit underneath
