I guess this is a general question but "summer" is kind of vague to me. I'm not saying for exact dates but is this a boat most people are going to get in the some real water time this year? I'm not talking october-nov. I'm asking out of pure interest. I brought it up to the soon to be wife and we are considering a new boat instead of our honeymoon. By new I mean used......but if new were an option a timetable would be super duper

I might be looking at this wrong cuz it's not apples to apples but, the Chevy Spark (NXT) doesn't bring the resale value of the Cadillac CTS (X2). The age, condition and milage of the car does that.

So why would the NXT bring down the resale of the X2 or any other model for that matter. If someone wants a MC, for the name plate, but can only afford a certain budget then they will buy used or the NXT.

IF they can afford all the bells and whistles then they will buy the bells and whistles and they will pay what it costs for them.

Kudos MC for going after market share and allowing the brand to cater to those don't want to buy used just cuz it fits into their budget.

I would be willing to bet that you could not get the NXT with any of the other MC towers - look at the mount. This would be to protect the value of the X-Series line and keep the budget line unique to the others. They have to draw a line so that people cant replicate the looks of a full out x-series without paying the price.

Looking at the interior, it look quite boxy (like a moomba), but that may be becuase its a shell and still unfinished.

But at the end of the day, I would expect a lot of the luxury details (branding and heavy billet) that we associate with the traditional MC brand could be reduced or absent - again to keep separation from the budget to high end.

Nice boat, cool profile and love the color. This could be winner. Personally I dont like the tower, looks third party, but may be enough to attract the Bu and Supra owners

I agree in the tower, put a ZFT4 on it and you could not make enough of them, I'd rather have it than an X2. Manual surf tab, no problem!
